MAINTENANCE WORKER

• Performs manual work in construction, maintenance, and repair of City infrastructure facilities
  

• Performs a variety of maintenance tasks pertaining to Public works, operations and services
  

• Minimum Job Requirements:
  

a. High School diploma/GED

b. Valid Texas driver’s license with ability to get Class B with air brakes within 6 months of employment

c. Understand spoken and written English

d. Possession of, or ability to obtain, appropriate certifications/licenses that may be required; including TCEQ

   “D” water, wastewater collection, and become basic animal control officer within the first year of employment

• Physical Demands:
  

a. Typically exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally

b. Up to 50 pounds more frequently

c. and/or 20 pounds constantly.
